FAQs
Yes, residents can pay rent online via the property’s payment portal. The “Communities” tab at the top of the page provides links to payment portals for your community. Once there, you can search for your community and access the online payment portal.
Contact your community manager for more information.
Residents can submit maintenance requests by contacting the property management office.
If a maintenance emergency occurs, residents should contact the property management office, or if after-hours, residents may contact 859-276-5388 for assistance. Residents experiencing a life-threatening emergency should call 911 immediately.
All residents are highly encouraged to purchase Renters Insurance to cover the loss of personal belongings but is not required. If you have questions regarding Renters Insurance you may reach out to the Property Management office for more information.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Leroy Shields 🌟
Please join us in celebrating Leroy Shields, our incredible Operations Manager and winner of the Legacy Award at this year’s Annual Training Meeting!
The Legacy Award is presented to a Winterwood employee with five or more years of service who exemplifies high performance, honesty, loyalty, and a sense of humor while going above and beyond in their role and community. Leroy embodies all these qualities and more, making him a true asset to our team!
Leroy joined Winterwood in 2014 and has excelled in several roles, including Property Manager, Senior Manager, and Regional Manager. He takes pride in helping properties succeed, supporting his team, and making a difference in residents' lives. One of his most rewarding moments was watching a gentleman shed tears when moving into his new home at Stonewall Terrace.
When Leroy isn’t making an impact at work, he enjoys relaxing with friends, watching football, and repurposing furniture.
When asked who inspires him, Leroy shared, that Shawn Robinson inspires him with her dedication, goal-setting, and loyalty. She’s one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. He also mentioned his mom being the strongest person he knows, with a no-quit mentality and unmatched determination. She’s my hero.
Leroy’s advice? “Winterwood gives you the opportunity to be successful if that’s your goal. With hard work, you can achieve anything here!” Congratulations, Leroy, on your well-deserved award, and thank you for your dedication to Winterwood and our communities!

Protections Provided Through the Violence Against Women Act
HUD provides protections for victims of acts of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and sexual assault. This is true regardless of gender. While victims are still required to meet criminal and screening requirements, you will not be subjected to denial solely because you are a victim of an act (aka VAWA Crimes) covered under VAWA 2013. If you want to exercise your VAWA protections, please contact the owner/agent (Property Management Office).
